Is doing my head in at the moment!! I was planning to sell it this month to fund my summer hols. I don't use it that much and I can use my dad's car as I am still on his insurance - so I don't see the point in throwing money at it when I can use one for free...(lol, and that includes the petrol...why pay for it when dad will

but anyway)

Since I decided to sell it, I have had to spend a fortune on it to keep it on the road...The latest problem is the battery, which keeps dying. I had a mechanic look at it and he got a new battery which lasted about 2 days before it totally died again.

He came out again today and tested the battery again, and it was totally dead.

I really can't keep throwing money at it, but I want to get something back on it. Well more that, I need to get some money back on it!!

lol, sorry to hear that. Cars are a pain and a joy. Sounds like you have a short somewhere and its draining the battery or a new alternater

You need a new mechanic lol sounds to be like the alternator is not charging the battery correctly Batteries should last two years not two days .xx

hi willow by the sounds of u you need to buy an alternotor like cammy said, its not charging the battery like it should. they usually got for 65$ quick and easy fix :P

it could be simply a loose alternator belt, if so, it only needs tightening up, a 2 minute job
