After reading scary's curly wurly blog yesterday, I found this......




One metre long, home made curly wurly, I may have to try making this over the weekend.....bang goes the diet, thanks scary!!

The kids have just left to go and stay with their dad tonight, and not a second too soon to be honest. I got in from work, mid-way through one of their arguements and there has been constant arguement after arguement since then. I was just about ready to go nuclear!!

*deep breath* hmmmmm, slightly better now!

okay, now I have the rest of the night to myself, in perfect 'PEACE' and quiet....they even took the dog so I don't have to venture out into the cold, wet, windy night again at all!!!

Well, I decided to visit the optician today since my eye was much worse when I got up this morning. She gave me the full eye test...which is a really long, drawn out process these days...I was amazed but impressed by how thoroughly they check everything now!! I did get a bit stupid in the middle of it though, I don't know why but I just started getting daft thoughts about how silly it all looked (me with my stoopid spec things on and her with her light looking into my eyes), and I got a total fit of the giggles!!

Anyway, once I managed to compose myself again we got the test finished. Can you fail an eye-test? Well anyway, everything was okay and my eyesight is fine for the moment. She reckons I have a viral form of conjunctivitis, so I have some anti-biotic eye drops to use for a week.

Other than my exciting visit to the eye doctor, my day was pretty uneventful! I woke up this morning totally depressed because of the dream I was having before waking up. In my dream everybody I loved was dead and I was trying to find them, but I kept breaking down in tears and was understandably depressed.

Unfortunately, when I woke up I didn't manage to shake that depressed feeling for most of the day..... It is really weird how a dream can affect your mood all day, I really did have that 'I just can't be bothered with the world' mentality all day!!

Buttttt............. I have shaken it off now, so who wants to party???

I keep thinking it is Sunday all over again today. The kids are off school for the October break, so my usual quiet Monday has been replaced with a mad, mayhem filled day of dealing with the dramas as they occur!!

"IT'S NOT FAIR!!!! MONDAY'S ARE MY DAY!!"

Luckily I have a busy night ahead so I can get away from the drama's for a while.

But, I think I have an infection or something in my eye. It has been hurting me for a couple of days, but I just put some make-up as I am heading out for a while and my eye has now turned into a tap and I have a steady stream of water running down one cheek now...lol, what a state to get into

The room still isn't finished, but I almost am......I think I may be sleeping on the couch tonight. The room wins, it beat me....I lost!! I am not scared to admit it....It is probably a 2 day job for at least 2 people.

My eldest is away again tonight, so I have let the youngest have a friend stay over tonight. They are gonna get a movie soon, but I will be very, very, very careful over tonight's choice of viewing..heeheeee

I got a phone call from work earlier and I have to go another shop next week to manage while their manager is off, and in a funny kind of way I am quite looking forward to it. I think it is because I can be a real manager there....(the people I will be managing only know me as a manager, unlike the folks I am working with who have been working there longer than I have!!) lol....so look out new folks, I may practice being a bitchy boss...heeheeeee

The school is off now too, so I have the pleasure of the kids company while I am home all day, everyday for the next week and a half....OOOhhhh the joy!!

Okay, now I deserve a medal already.....but I am settling for a quick break! I can't believe how many pairs of shoes, bags, and clothes that I own which I had forgotten all about! I have a whole new wardrobe to wear now I am digging into the mess.....

I just got to the back corner of the cupboard though, and found a giant mass of spider webs.....which, after recent events is rather worrying, lol.

I have almost finished my tea...dinner is doing away nicely and smelling wonderful so I guess it's time to go back in.....

I have had a great Sunday morning sitting sipping tea and reading blogs....both kids are out just now and the sound of silence is just great! It's a shame that it can't last though (

I have to seriously get my ass moving today...It's another one of those days when I really shouldn't be sitting here relaxing! I have got to take the kids to the stables, then get back and tidy up....I also decided for some strange reason I am going to attack my bedroom today and totally gutt it out and rearrange it all! Then I have a friend coming for a roast dinner, which we have to be sat down and eating by 4pm because me and the eldest kiddie are getting our hair done and we are both getting colours so it is gonna take ages!!

I think I will be ready to flop come 9pm tonight....

Why does everything have to be done in one day.....but at least it will keep me outa trouble today tho, lol

I am having a girly night in with my daughter tonight, and we have got munchies, quilts, pillows and ordered a movie from sky. So she likes scary movies, so i said okay and we chose a movie called "teeth" which from the synopsis didn't give too much away but sounded a bit scary........

Well, about 10 minutes into the movie I got a bad feeling about it...so I jumped onto the internet to check it out.....OMG....Just as freaking well I did!! I cant believe this film we nearly watched was about vaginal teeth and not the kind everybody has in their mouths......Why the fuck didnt the synopsis have a mention of sexual content in it....or sexual and dental content????


That was almost a car crash in the making!!

Do you remember I told you about the monster spider I had in the house last week?

Well, last night in bed when I was sleeping I had a dream about it, except it was even bigger (not that that is possible really but it was!).

So, in my dream I was laying on the floor under a quilt and the spider was crawling about on the floor. I was keeping really still and not moving incase it saw me. Finally, it climbed up onto the quilt at my feet and started crawling up towards my head. It got to my shoulders in my dream before I finally freaked out and screamed as loud as I could and punched it off of me!!!

At that point I woke up with the dog yelping (the first time), since he had sneaked up on the bed and was sleeping, soundly, next to me and my scream scared him. His second yelp was when my fist (the one punching the spider off) made contact with his face - that came up right after his first yelp and my scream!!

I really don't know which one of us got the biggest fright, but he has kinda been staying out of my way today!

Today, I was 13,278 days old....NOOOO it's not my birthday today!! On July 5, 2013 I will be 15,000 days old.... My kids asked me tonight if I was a million days old yet (which is what brought this on, lol)
