I have spent the last 2 hours turning the house upside down looking for my car keys....I mean really turning it upside down!! The annoying thing was we had just tidied up so it WAS nice and tidy for about 5 minutes.

I finally gave up and used my spare key to move the car from my usually parking space, just incase I dropped them outside the house.

I came back in and put the spare key down......right next to the original set!!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....lol

I thought I would try to distract myself with a little dip into the forums......

WOW......If I ever mention I wanna go there again will somebody please slap me silly till I bleed and cry for mercy!!

I could do without days like today, but then I suppose without days like this I wouldn't appreciate the good days I have in between...

Does it really take having to suffer bad days to really appreciate the good ones? Can't we just learn to enjoy the really good without having to live through the bad????????

At riding tonight I almost did an action replay of a few weeks ago, but this time I was ready for her.......I managed to catch myself in time and stayed on (lol)...so my ribs stay intact this time thankfully.....

Apart from that I am beginning to hate Mondays for reasons different to most other folks. I used to hate them because it was the first day of the week, but now it is the last day of my weekend........Unlike Sundays though, they are anything but restfull! I have not stopped all day, in fact, I have only just sat down now - since 8am this morning.

I have spent my day running friends around (who don't seem to realise that I am spending good petrol money on doing that!! ) going to clubs, doing washing, acting as a food delivery service for sick friends, being a mobile cash-line for other friends....being a cook, cleaner and general dogs-body for kids and trying to find time to catch my breath inbetween.....


Now I have sat down and managed to grab a slice of toast and a cuppa tea.....the very next person to phone me is getting serious abuse down the phone..lol

Ya know what is really funny???



I have alway said that if I sang karaoke then I would empty a pub.............. Well guess what....I sang karaoke tonight and guess what???

I sang, then about 2 minutes later the pub emptied and I had the mic to myself for the last hour of the night, which suited me really well... Coz, I got a taste for it and loved it, and wasn't letting it go!!

/me screeches her blog empty too!!

Well she is now grounded and has extra chores to do all week until I decide she can be trusted to listen to me again.....She knows she was out of order so I suppose that is half the battle!!

I'm getting my hair done later, I am thinking of trying something really different but I will probably just stick to the same again this time.

I do want to get out for a walk and some fresh air at some point but am a bit short on time today (

Right now, I am being the angry parent waiting on the 15 y/o daughter coming home an hour late. I finally got her to answer her phone and told her to get her ass home now (oohhhhh yeah, I shouted!!!)

lol, right now I imagine she is running the mile home from where she is....

Anywayyyy......(changing the subject quickly before I start ranting) work was shit tonight, I think it may be the credit crunch starting to hit us now....but we had very few customers and it was a longggggggggggggggggggggggg day!!!!

But.....tomorrow is Saturday, and once it hits 2pm, my weekend beging.....YAYYYYYY

I forgot about the monster experience I had this morning........

So, I had just got outa bed and was sitting on the toilet (midflow!!) when my youngest started screaming her head off and running through the house really freaking out.

I really couldn't do much at the time, but rushed myself as much as possible before asking her what was wrong. She eventually calmed herself enough to get a few random words out....."spider!!" "huge!!" "AAAGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" was pretty much what I managed to make out, while she was giving hand signals of something the size of a saucer.

(Now you have to bear in mind here that this is the kiddie I call on when I find a spider in the house, because she just isn't scared of them, and is my hero whenever I find one (or one finds me!))

So after telling her off for exagerating about it being 'that' big.......I went through to see it armed with a pint glass to trap it in......






FUCKKKKKK!!!!


She was not exagerating one little bit!! I swear that the pint glass I had in my hand wasn't even big enough to get this monster. So we both danced around for about 10 minutes trying to figure out what to do with this uninvited guest and how to get him/her out of our lives..... I even considered the fact that I had a repair guy coming in about an hour's time..(well, I could sit and watch it till he came, then pay him extra for doing the business with it!) but it was sitting right next to her school bag.

SOOOOOO.........I had to play the super-brave, super-mum that I am (lol) I counted to 3 about 100 times, and each time my nerve went and I ran back to the other side of the room...but on attempt 101 (approx) I ran in with my trusty can of fly spray and the glass and sprayed the monster first, untill he curled up enough so he fitted into the glass....and then I defeated the xxxxx!!


I want a medal for my bravery.....well I DO deserve it!!

I have a new phone....woohooooooo

and its the one with a mirror finish...so it doubles up as a useful item for when I have to touch up my make-up.

Heeheeee, how cool is that......
