Saturday, April 2, 2011, 3:10:59 AM- Okay, enough it enough!!!
Dear God/Fate/Mother Nature....whoever is in charge of these things. Hasn't she gone through enough???? For those of you who read my blog regularly you will remember they found a growth on my wife's thyroid almost a year ago. Around six months ago she had a needle biopsy which showed the growth to be benign. The doctor however recommended a six month follow up, with a new sonogram to check for changes or growth of the mass. She had the sonogram last week, and we met with the doctor today to go over the results. The mass has grown by about 15% AND a new mass is present right beside the first one, making the total growth rate about 25%. The doctor said it needs to come out. Changes like this aren't good, although he is still hopeful the growth is non cancerous. He did say he couldn't be sure, but from the look of it on the sonogram, thought there was a good chance it hadn't become cancer yet. Since it's not life threatening she has to wait for the first available date, which will be sometime in the first week of May. The scheduler is supposed to call Monday and set things up. When is enough enough? I feel like crying and cussing at the same time. She's had too many problems the last few years and I just wish it would all go away. She's a fighter, a real trooper, but everyone gets worn down with time. She's asleep now, I held her while she cried herself to sleep. Sure, it's probably not cancer, or hopefully not, but it's one more surgery in a long list of surgeries she's had to go through. So whoever's in charge up there, if you're listening, just....enough, okay?

I was on the way home from work about 530 this afternoon when my wife calls and wants to know where I am. Half way home, like usual at his time of day, I tell her and she proceeds to tell me she's at the local ER. My heart jumps into my throat as she rushes to explain it's nothing serious, she just cut her finger and may need stitches. She was trying to open the plastic clamshell case, yes one of those dreaded things, on a new bluetooth headset she bought and slipped and sliced her finger open. It happened on her lunch break, around 1PM and when I got to the ER at 545pm, they were just taking her back to be seen. WTF!! She sat for 4 hours and 45 mins before they took her back for treatment? Our local hospital is a joke. GRRRRRRRRR!!! Anyway, I sit with her in the room from 5:45 until 7:00 waiting on a doctor. A nurse looked at her finger, took her blood pressure, temp, and pulse, and we didn't see another soul until the very harried looking doctor came in, said it needed stitches, and put four stitches in it. The worst part of it is laying in the same drawer that she took my Buck lockblade from to try to open the package is one of those handy little openers made just for that. You know the kind, with the razor blade safely tucked away so you CAN'T cut yourself. But she couldn't use that, NO!!! She had to use my razor sharp knife with a 3 1/2" blade. *rolls eyes* I got a real dirty look when I listened to her tale of woe and then said "Here's your sign." LOL No nerve damage and she didn't cut anything vital so alls well in the end. She'll have a sore finger for a few days and hopefully she learned her lesson. NAW, she'll do it again sometime. LMAO.

1. I think part of a best friend’s job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die. 2. Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you’re wrong. 3. I totally take back all those times I didn’t want to nap when I was younger. 4. There is great need for a sarcasm font. 5. How the hell are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet? 6. Was learning cursive really necessary? 7. Map Quest really needs to start their directions on # 5. I’m pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood. 8. Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the person died. 9. I can’t remember the last time I wasn’t at least kind of tired. 10. Bad decisions make good stories. 11. You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren’t going to do anything productive for the rest of the day. 12. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don’t want to have to restart my collection…again. 13. I’m always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten-page technical report that I swear I did not make any changes to. 14. “Do not machine wash or tumble dry” means I will never wash this – ever. 15. I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring (Hello? Hello? Damn it!), but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and goes to voice mail. What did you do after I didn’t answer? Drop the phone and run away? 16. I hate leaving my house confident and looking good and then not seeing anyone of importance the entire day. What a waste. 17. I keep some people’s phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call. 18. I think the freezer deserves a light as well. 19. I disagree with Kay Jewelers. I would bet on any given Friday or Saturday night more kisses begin with Miller Lite than Kay. 20. I wish Google Maps had an “Avoid Ghetto” routing option. 21. Sometimes, I’ll watch a movie that I watched when I was younger and suddenly realize I had no idea what the heck was going on when I first saw it. 22. I would rather try to carry 10 over-loaded plastic bags in each hand than take 2 trips to bring my groceries in. 23. The only time I look forward to a red light is when I’m trying to finish a text. 24. I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger. 25. How many times is it appropriate to say “What?” before you just nod and smile because you still didn’t hear or understand a word they said? 26. I love the sense of camaraderie when an entire line of cars team up to prevent a jerk from cutting in at the front. Stay strong, brothers and sisters! 27. Shirts get dirty. Underwear gets dirty. Pants? Pants never get dirty, and you can wear them forever. 28. Is it just me or do high school kids get dumber & dumber every year? 29. There’s no worse feeling than that millisecond you’re sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far. 30. As a driver I hate pedestrians, and as a pedestrian I hate drivers, but no matter what the mode of transportation, I always hate bicyclists. 31. Sometimes I’ll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is. 32. Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys in a pocket, finding their cell phone, and Pinning the Tail on the Donkey – but I’d bet my ass everyone can find and push the snooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, first time, every time!

Tuesday, March 8, 2011, 5:08:00 AM- Damn I should have bought a lottery ticket Saturday...
Yep, it was a great day. I finally made it to bed about midnight, lol, which sucked since I knew I had to be up at 430. My wife was already asleep so I spooned up behind her and dozed off. About 1 she wakes me up, I've got a hand full of her tit and I'm dry humping my hardon into the crack of her ass. "If you're going to rub it against me you might as well put it somewhere it will do us both some good," she says, and proceeds to line me up with the promised land, LOL. So after about a half hour of gentle lovemaking we finally go back to sleep. At 430 when I wake up she's got her hand wrapped around my morning wood. ) She hasn't been this horny in a while and I'm not sure what caused it but I ain't complaining either. So after a morning quickie, and a quick shower, I run out the door to head to work, running 15 minutes late. GRRRRRR!!! A county cop catches me trying to get to work on time...77 in a 55. (( So there I sit waiting for him to come up and get my driver's license and ticket me. He gets to the car and YIPPEE!! it's a guy I used to work with. LMAO, he just shakes his head, ask me what the hurry is, and then lets me go. SOOOO now I have to run 90 to make it on time, but I did. My luck ran out when I got home last night though, my wife said she was to sore for any more loving, so I had to settle for a blowjob. *rolls eyes* Anyway, work was a drag today and I don't know much else. She's feeling sick again, and I hope she hasn't caught strep throat from our son, so no loving tonight. Oh well, I'm tired anyway, and if I go to bed now I could get about five hours of sleep. But why do that? LOL Later. DC
