Tent and costume day today.My vacation is past its halfway point.I have finsihed 3 more carvings....but need another 10 more by show day.I have a trip I'm taking Thursday thru saturday.....I am looking forward to it...but not entirely.This trip was planned along time ago...but I didnt realise how broke I would be...also it is with someone....and I'm not sure even where things are with that...maybe not such a great trip after all.But I'm paying for it wheather I go or not....so I might as well go and se how things go.Either way I am going to take a bunch of pics of where I am at....it does look lovely,and I think y'all should see it.I will post pics of my tent that I have annoyed everyone about for so long.I will show pics of my costume to my special friends on here(you know who you are!)

I have had many things going on in my life as of late.My show is getting closer and the stresses of that are both good and almost to much to bear.I have been dating,and well....Suffice to say that I wear my heart on my sleeve and there are some that choose to wipe their noses on it......ahh well.I know I havn't been the txn of late ...either in the chat room or elsewhere for that matter.I'm sorry if I am out of sorts at times .I have to many things on my mind and it gets to me.I'm not typically a self revealing blogger,most of my blogs tend to be about stuff that I do...but not like this.Those that know me more than in chat know that I tend to be a very good listener.....but I want to thank someone I know for listening to me the other night when I needed to unload....Thank You from the bottom of my heart!!!! which just so happens to be where my heart is at the moment....the bottom.I am very excited about my upcoming show....things are coming togeather fast and I have great feelings about its success( the Empress card was drawn by a great friend of mine) !!!!!!! I have my new set of chisels in now. Gonna work on some new carvings this weekend.The new set have finer chisels and a different variety...will take my carvings to a whole 'nother level!
I am so excited this past week!!So many good things have happened. My carvings are on display in Corpus,My website is almost finished,my fan base(dare I say groupies,lol) is getting bigger,I have started getting a little more than friendly with someone I met again after 25 years apart(and its going great so far!!) ,Going on a big date this weekend So all in all,this week has been amazing for me. I'm hoping that my bad luck streak...on everything in my life.....is going elsewhere.

Oh and btw....thx to those that gave me such good comments and helpful thoughts on my site!!!!

Well,I now have a name for my carving booth/buisness. Already have a website...will start work on it this weekend.I loved alot of the names,and thank you all my friends for helping me!!!
Very honorable mentions MUST go to juicy and MD....both suggestions were not only liked but looked into.The thing is...they are GREAT ideas...thats why someone already has them LMAO....so I was back to the drawing board lol

As soon as I get something on the site I'll send out some links via PM's or on messenger.

I need some suggestions...I'm looking for a "company" name to use for my carving.Gonna have a booth at a renn faire and website and everything.But thinking of a good one has proven to be harder than the carvings themselves LOL.
So anything y'all can help me with may help.Appreciate it my friends!!!

P.S. I already thought of "Got Wood?" but I dont want the innuendo LOL

Well y'all knew they were coming! Here's the first one I did with the new bark.Measures 14" x 6" x 3.5"
Decided to make a simple cottage.Kinda test out the bark.And I LOVE it!!!!! this bark is most excellant

I am so excited!! My new bark has arrived from British Columbia!! This bark is amazing!! 2 to 3 times bigger than my other bark.It is called Black cottonwood.And I couldnt resist it....i already used a chisel on one just to see how it carved LOL
Now everyone is going to be even more annoyed at my constant pic's of my new carvings!!! MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Listening yesterday to a segment on the radio about the anniversary of Ernest Hemingways birth,I heard something I had never heard before.Hemingway was once bet that he couldn't write a story in 6 words.He took the bet and came up with an amazing story....enough to make ya cry almost....
