My friends I am sorry I havn't been much in chat lately.My connection hasn't been to damn good.But I am getting it fixed.Till then....think of sittin' on my porch,beers all around,playing music of friendship,joy and love.Not careing one wit how late it gets to be because enjoying good company is what feeds our hearts and minds.Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and enjoys a safe and Happy New Year.

sometimes its the simple things. Tonight I made a fire outside on my porch.Got real cozy.Opened a beer.Lit my pipe.and enjoyed being quiet and contemplated the evening.Nothing else.Just enjoyed the smell of the wood burning slow.The sound of the crackle.looked up at the dark evening sky as the smoke swirled effortlessly towards it.Enjoyed my pipe,which I havn't done for quite sometime.In all,just felt very nice and peaceful.


Just wish my damn headache would go away.

Hurricane Ike has decided to go another direction.I am out of the woods.However,Houston and Galveston are going to be hit hard.Keep all those people in your thoughts ,my friends.But as of now,I am going to be fine.

Hello my dear friends,
Just an FYI to everyone that Hurricane Ike is now on the last projected coarse expected to have landfall in a direct hit of my little part of Texas.It is expected to reach CAT 3 possiblly 4 tho that is unlikely according to the experts.I am only 20 miles from the water so this is not good news by any means.

I am not evacuating my home.I intend to stay.This is not an attempt at attention seeking...just an FYI.I will be removing my pics from the site temporarily until the storm is over and will put them back on when/if I am able to later.I hope everyone understands that move.

I have confidense things will turn out ok.I will update later as things get closer.
