| Sunday, June 11, 2006, 2:34:14 AM- for a very long time i have been wondering | ||||||
about cyber sex. Yes it is exciting, yes it is a way of relieving yourself, but!and this is a big but. I really do feel sorry for so many mainly younger males that NEED cyber to "get off" They come begging in chat, notices and blogs for help. To me this is sad. It is sad for two reasons, yes, some are single and looking for instant gratification, but quite often they are in a relationship and looking for another couple or single female to help. Before I go too far I would like to point to the latest poll as verification for me picking on the male of the species. Overwhelmingly they have begged for "cam chat" So why do i find this so sad? Because i think that in this wonderful cyber world sex and instant gratification has surpassed the wonder that is intimacy. I really do fear for this generation who thinks that sex is all that it is portrayed on the net. I think that if they ever got the chance to experience the joy and the turn on of real intimacy they wouldnt know what to do with it. Ultimately there is more joy to be found with that special someone in your life than there is in a few minutes on cam, real intimacy will last a life time. Cyber is a cheap thrill like the carnival that comes to town once a year.

Poutine is basically fries, gravy and cheese curds, it is a french canadian invention and is incredibly yummy. Even McDonalds in Canada has poutine in the menu (don't try it it's disgusting). I have a great place for poutine right down the street, so this was lunch today... ![]() no where near healthy but damn it was good

| Saturday, June 3, 2006, 2:54:15 PM- I like this word | ||||||
Today's Word: Promulgate (Verb) Pronunciation: ['prah-mêl-geyt] Definition 1: To proclaim, declare, or advertise widely; to make public. Usage 1: Alternate forms of today's word abound across the history of English: "promulge," "provulge," and "provulgate" (see Etymology). However, "promulgate" seems to be the only one to withstand the insults of time. One who promulgates is a promulgator and their action is promulgation. The object promulgated is said to be promulgate ['prah-mêl-gêt] as in a violation of the promulgate law, i.e. a widely known or published law. Suggested usage: Today's word relieves you of the stigma of the substandard verb "blab." Spreading information publicly is promulgating it: "So, I use a hair restorer; you don't have to promulgate the fact throughout the land!" I like the adjective, "It is promulgate fact that Lurene manipulates men; ask anyone." This implies the fact is not merely obvious but talked about openly by everyone. Etymology: Latin promulgare "to expose to public view, publish" a mumbled variant of provulgare from pro "forward, to in front of" + vulgare "publish" from the sense, "put before the people." "Vulgare" comes from vulgus "the populace, ordinary people" a descendent of the same root as English "folk" and German "Volk." So, our word "vulgar" comes from the Latin word for "folk," again demonstrating our prejudice against the ordinary. "Vulgar Latin" essentially means "spoken Latin," the Latin of ordinary men and women.

Laundry is supposed to be easy right? This morning i had a meeting at school to discuss my sons placement for next year, before I left I considered starting laundry and I am now sooooooooooooooo glad I didn't. They meeting went well and I am really looking forward to his placement for next year. Afterwards my friend and I stopped, cruised a new dollar store and got some groceries. When I got back home I put the groceries away then puttered for a bit before finally getting to the laundry. And I will be eternally grateful for being lazy. In went the laundry then i jumped online. I was enjoying my chat tremendously and was vaguely aware that i could hear the water running, I was waitng for the tell tale silence to let me know it was time for the wash to go into the dryer. Dring this time my friend called me to the window, there was a mommy duck and 12 babies in our driveway! Had to get pics of them! I will put one up when I am not so tired. Awhile later Roo came screaming into the house, I thought I had locked the door and asked how the hell did you get in? As an answer I got "the basement is flooding!" He had been working with a neighbour and stopped by to drop off some money, thank god for timing. We went to the basement to be greeted with 4" of water, a huge mess as you can imagine. The rest of the afternoon was spent ripping up carpet (that I have hated ever since moving in 10 years ago, GOOD RIDDANCE!)but what a mess!!!!! All of this started slightly after noon, it is now 8pm and I am finally sitting and relaxing after a cold shower, it's still inhumanly hot here. So I am hot and tired and sore but, I have a super clean basement! I am also glad the kids were at school or they would have wanted to swim in it, and best of all, the washer didn't need major repairs, a hose had come off and was easily fixed. That is one way I wouldn't recommend to get motivated to clean, a very tired ju

| Sunday, May 28, 2006, 9:26:40 PM- Sunday | ||||||
I found out today that my car needs a whole new exhaust before it can go in for emissions testing, that won't be happening for awhile, I just don't have the money. Oddly enough I am not as upset about not having a car as I thought i would be. Most things are within walking distance and those that aren't well thats what the bus is for right? Although the bus won't take us camping ![]() It has been a quiet day here. My eldest is at her cousins birthday party and my youngest has been outside ALL day, I haven't laid eyes on him other than the times I have gone looking for him to make sure he is ok. I did get to the disaster area I call a garage, its much more organized now, just a few more things to tidy up, and a few more things to get rid of and it will look like humans actually live here. Enjoying the peace, ju
