Warmest day of the year so far. All I have been hearing is kids laughing. I just went out to rescue a hockey stick and a few balls before dark finally settles in and they go missing. My world has come alive again! One more day of 20c and then back down to around 6c.
One step forward, three steps back.
A few things in the garden have started to surface.
Energy and renewal are good things,

Time after time I compose blogs in my head and would love to sit and let them out. I could I suppose go to a blogging site where I know absolutely no one and let it all spew forth but the fact remains that I love your feed back.
NNers are a unique breed of caring, smartass, intelligent and downright odd.
This is where I want to blog but can't.
Having a vengful person in your past makes you have to guard what you say so the shit doesn't splatter all.
I wish part of the block feature made it possible to block others from all of an individuals activity on here.
To date it doesn't, so you will just have to read my mind. There are some facinating things going on in there.

With all the bitching we all do, I know we have all dealt with the bad and the ugly.
It is time however that we gave accolades to the good.
It is easy to complain, it is not so easy to say thank you, whether it is to a compliment, a friendly chat or a PM that made your day.
This is where I have been having a hard time, this blog has been stewing for weeks and I still am not sure how to phrase it.
I guess the best way to go about it is to keep it simple.
I thank you for being you. I thank you for our bitch sessions, I thank you for the laughter, I thank you for a new perspective, I thank you for keeping me real
Most of all I thank you for being you.
I have been fortunate to have encountered many of you and for that I am thankful.

This week has gone from great to better. Today I found out I will get funding for a course I want to take. This is exciting for me because this isn't something that is normally funded and an exception has been made for me.

Off to college I go again starting at the beginning of May. It is just one course, one evening/week but I am to quote a few UK NNers "chuffed"

I was not saying that good manners have no place in this society. What I was ranting about were the women who come here with the express purpose of causing shit and then waiting for their knight in shinning armor to rescue them.
I have the utmost respect for those who have the common decency to treat all with the respect that they deserve.
Unfortunately recently I have been witness to several who live to stir the pot and then wait on another to get them out of the situation they created.
Chivalry, in its purest form is a most wonderful thing.
Watching someone stir the pot and waiting for someone to fall prey to their manipulations is not in any way honourable.
When I rant, I am ranting for me. I know what I mean. I guess I need to be clearer so the rest of you understand too.

Some of you guys really need to take your armour off. Knights are sooo 15th century and the helmets are obscuring your view.
Is it not obvious that is the same women over and over pleading their cases as fem fatales?
The knights and the fem fatales need to move into the 21st century.
There are tools in place on this site to make it user friendly no matter who you are.
The oh poor me I am a victim is just as pathetic to watch as are the so called knights in shinning armour to rescue them.
I am totally embarrassed by the sexual stereotypes some feel the need to portray.
In so many ways this site has gone above and beyond to allow us freedom to express our sexuality. To see these archaich behaviours does nothing to move us forward.

I am so excited because it is the kind of thing I love doing AND it is with the city so there is always the possibility of getting something permanent.
I am attending an orientation session tomorrow afternoon and will go from there.
