for a good long time and I was reminded of it, again, just now, talking to my lil sis.
She had to go and deal with lb, no biggie, those of us that have kids know we have to be there for them. That is not at all the issue.
The problem, or MY problem is that the way she phrased it and this really has nothing to do with her it is an accumulation of things said to me that I don't quite get.
She told me to get back to my friends. (lil sis this isn't about you at all, it is about me, you know I love you.)
I do NOT understand why ppl assume I am too busy to talk to them. I am always very honest when I ask ppl to hang on a min, I tell them why.
I may not like the answers I MIGHT get, but I am very curious to know why ppl assume I am so busy? or aloof?

the forum rarely, its just not my thing. However I am very disturbed by the recent trend by forum members to use pics of themselves as children as avitars.
You may think it is cute to let your friends know what you looked like as a child but you are feeding an element of society that is not welcome here, nor anywhere else for that matter.

Practice in this case does not make perfect.
There is no right or wrong way to grieve.
We will all do it in our own time and in our own way.
When we have truely done grieving we will be able to smile again.
We will find joy in what was.

a Suzy homemaker kind of day. My daughter was off school for the afternoon so I enlisted her help to get some cleaning and rearranging done. It took us all afternoon but all 3 levels are officially clean!!!
Of course part of that roll is preparing a meal.

Prime rib, yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and carrots with garlic and summer savory, tomato, green pepper and cucumber salad in oil and vinegar and of course apple pie for dessert.

Maggies just called,
"The fire jumped the hills and is now three miles from me. Fire dept has told us to evacuate,,,,,,so I will leave now.
That was his quick email before he left the house, he called me while he was on the road. Him and the dogs are headed for his sisters place where there are no fires for now.
Bng he told me the has his 2 Loonies in his pocket for luck.
I will let you all know more as he knows more, he did say he would call again.
