It's Monday and I am trying to get motivated to go get my workout clothes on and go excercise. I am having a tough time finding that motivation. I am just feeling like being lazy right now, not a good sign for the start of my week.

In addition to excercising I have to go to the feed store, the grocery store, get my oil changed in my car and take my son to the math tutor. No time to be slacking off no matter how much I want to. If I was alone I would crawl right back into bed and sleep till noon.

Hubby just called to say hi so that is my cue to get off my butt and head out for my day, unless anyone wants to do my errands for me so I could stay in bed today lol. Any takers...?

Saturday was a pretty darn good day, lot's of 'family' time together. It was kind of nice since the next couple weeks will be pretty hectic so we all enjoyed the relaxing time together.

We watched some tv for a while after, had some 'family time' in front of the tube and then it was time to put our kid to bed. He kept begging to stay up later and later. I keep telling him he better get used to going to bed earlier because school wil be starting up soon, but he doesn't want to hear it. 8 going on 18, my god. He even asked me when he could have a cellphone of his own. I was like you gotta be kidding me, right? You are 8 years old, you don't need a frigging cell phone. He can't hardly keep track of his gameboy or DS, so a phone? I think not. Kids! lol.

After he went to bed hubby and I sat on the porch and hung out til it got too chilly to be outside - it is Summer, right? The weather has been so odd lately. We came in and watched a little more tv and then went online and chatted with some friends before heading off to bed ourselves. By then it was past midnight and I was beat, but I did get a nice backrub before I dozed off. Can't beat that. It was a nice Saturday.

Ah well it was fun to enjoy non-reality for a bit. We went to a swingers party/dance last night and it was a blast.

It was pretty much an all day thing, starting out with a dinner at an Italian place for one of the girls - it was her birthday - and then back to the hotel to get ready for the party. I opted for a little, and I mean little black dress and a pair of shoes that can best be described as 'slutty' lol. My husband insisted I get these shoes. I normally don't wear very high heels, but he loved me in these shoes so who am I to deny him? I got a lot of compliments on those shoes, so hubby was right. Score one for him. The party was great, lots of dancing, drinking and socializing. I haven't a clue as to how many times I got groped, I lost track after a few hours and a couple drinks. My only complaint was it was so effing hot; the AC was just not working hard enough and after dancing for a while I was just wringing wet with sweat.

We had a gorgeous suite at the hotel so we left the party a little after 1:15am and tried to go to the hot tub with some friends but we couldn't figure out how to get the hot tub hot. It was more tepid than hot which was no fun. We gave up and went back to our suite and just sat out on our balcony and relaxed for a while and watched the various party goers trickle out to the 'other' parties in the various rooms and suites. Thanks to my period (dammit) there was no visiting those other parties for us. Talk about frustrating. Ah well, such is life. There will be other parties. Hubby and I went out to dinner and a movie with Rachelle and Mitch last night. They are the couple we were supposed to be fucking last night until Aunt flow made her surprise visit (bitch). Rachelle and I both wanted to see Hairspray and we ate at PF Chang's for dinner. The potstickers rocked! I really didn't know what to expect from it. I loved John Water's original production, it is one of my favorite movies. I have seen it like 20 times, so I was worried this new version would fall flat as re-makes often do. I was wrong. It was FUN.

Yes it was a lot different in some ways than the original version, but it was still great. I still can't get over Travolta as Edna Turnbladd, he was a pretty darn perfect replacement for the late, great Divine. Lots of cameos by other famous actors so if you go - pay attention and be prepared to laugh. If you want a very entertaining, 'feel good' movie that will make you smile then go see this movie. We had a lot of fun. I am soooo glad we opted for this instead of Sicko, I was so in the mood to laugh not leave the theatre depressed and angry.
