Friday, February 28, 2014, 8:31:45 PM- $1.00 leads to $20.00 and he wasn't happy.
He bought a lotto scratch off ticket for $1.00 That ticket garnered him $20.00 He won $19.00. Pretty cool to me. But nooooooooooooooooooo, not to him. He actually handed the clerk the ticket and said "I won $20.00. No big deal and nothing to scream about" What? I would love to win $20.00. I could buy lunch for a 4 days. Dinner for 2 nights. Maybe some incidentals like toothpaste, cleanser, shampoo...etc. Possibly a packet of panties from Macy's. He was a man, so he could buy 4 packets (5 pair inside) of men's underwear from Walmart! I rarely play the lottery. It is few and far between when I do. If during the times I do win....I am elated! Even $5.00 will put a kick in my step. lol.....I am easily amused...hahaah. Last week I was on the phone was Guitar and was telling him how thrilled I was to buy three $1.00 lotto scratch offs and was able to play 5 more times on those three dollars. I ended up breaking even. No loss and no gain. But hey! It was awesome to not lose....lol. Instead of playing just scratching off three tickets, I was able to scratch off 12 more tickets from winning free tickets each time. Not bad! I should have said "Hey, if you don't want the $20.00, go and give it to the homeless man outside in the rain waiting for a hot cup of coffee"

Friday, February 28, 2014, 6:06:03 AM- Dedicated
The Father (the ex) and I do all that we can to help our sons financially with their tuition and occasional bills. My sons work part time, go to school full time and do some volunteering with certain hobbies. My boys do pay their way with rent, but they could not pay their full tuition all on their own without a little help from their Dad and I. The four of us do a bang up job in making sure that they succeed and have a good future. I do not complain about giving my sons the finances. I want them to finish their degrees and complete their goals. My Dad always told me that if a child has a goal, that goal should be the parents goal as well. To help as much as they can. He did that for me and I am doing that for my sons. My Dad wasn't rich and could not help me financially. He would have if he had the money. But he did have the ability to help me emotionally, spiritually and with his guidance of dedicated love in knowing that my goals were his goals. He was always their with a wonderful word or two. Today I was asked if I wanted to join in on a trip to Lake Tahoe for 5 days. I made mention that it wasn't possible because I use what extra money I have to help my sons. To make a long story short, this person told me to let my sons suffer and to let them see what it is like to go without some things. Pardon me? My boys are far from spoiled and they do go without some things. But to me, attending college full time and working part time is no walk in the park! I know that it would be worse without the assistance that their Dad and I provide. But why would we want them to suffer needlessly? I want my sons to succeed and that means being dedicated to their future.

Of course this is a photo shopped picture....lol. If I created a profile just to conduct a fun experiment here on NN, I wonder how many morons would want this woman to add them as a friend?. Can you imagine the plethora of comments this pic would get because the brain dead men think she is real?

Wednesday, February 26, 2014, 8:55:02 PM- Not Woody's son? Darn people making things up again.
For years others have speculated that Ronan Farrow is not Woody Allen's son, but is in fact the love child of Frank Sinatra. It seems that people want to believe that Mia (once divorced from Frankie) continued a torrid love affair with Frank while she was married to Woody. Where do people get these stories!!! Let's examine the evidence. Okay, Ronan has Woody's ....ummmm....well.....maybe not that. But he does have his.....ummmm....no......not those either. But look at his.....and the..... Hmmm? Heeeeeeeeeeey! Okay, so he has Frankies smoldering baby blue eyes, chiseled chin, Italian nose, wavy hair, smile and luscious lips. So he doesn't have the curly red hair and freckles like all of his siblings from Mia and Woody. Does that mean he is Frankie's son? Come on! Show me more evidence....lol

Tuesday, February 25, 2014, 3:36:20 AM- Corny and Campy Horror Movies
Yes, that may be so. But they have become cult classics. Some of the best B-Rated movies can be seen late at night. When I was about 10 years old, I used to sneak out of bed while everyone was asleep and watch movies. These movies were made way before I was even born, but I still wanted to watch. They weren't considered B-Rated back then, but when I look at them now.....ooooooh lordy! They do make me laugh. Back then, I honestly could not sleep when I was done watching them. I can remember every portion of the movies and still remember what made me afraid. I am such a dork...lol. These are the movies we watched when I was with my sons over the weekend. The Killer Shrews. For a while I had a fear of Border Collies and Irish Setters after this movie. The dogs in the movie were covered in wigs..lol. It Came From Hell. Oak Trees just never looked the same after this movie and I swear, the tree outside of my bedroom window tried to kill me one night. The Crawling Hand. There is a part in this movie where the hand crawls up the back of a couch and strangles a man. It jumped up, grabbed the shawl and crawled up...lol. I was afraid of couches that were not pushed against the wall. God I am a goon! The Crawling Eye. Yes, a giant eye terrorizes a small mountain hilltop town..lol. The eye didn't scare me, it was the fact that it would come creeping out of the fog. The veins are what scared me...lol. I am not afraid of fog and to tell you the truth, when I look at any mountain with fog on it, I think of the crawling eye slithering down the mountain. Oh, there are a plethora of campy and corny movies from the 50's and 60's that I love. These are just a few. There was The Blob, The Man with Two Heads (made in the 70's) and Them (loved Thhem!). All good and all take me back to the late nights a little girl enjoyed a few hours of scary movies while everyone was quiet. Yes, the movies were before my time, but to me they were new. When I would go to school on Mondays and tell the kids about the movie I watched, they didn't believe me. Tell me, other than the movies on this list, remind the readers of some of the other campy and corny B Movies you remember.

Monday, February 24, 2014, 5:15:27 AM- Home again home again, jiggity jigg.
The 'day of my birth' weekend is over. Like I mentioned before, I wasn't planning on going to see my sons....but hey...I love the spur of the moment decisions. The drive may have been long and the trip may have been quick, but it was enjoyable! The trip pics and the adventures to share will have to wait. This woman is tuckered as all get out. So for now, it is time for The Walking Dead, some popcorn, a blankie, a pillow and the smile I wear when I end the day. I may be naked when I fall asleep and wake up, but I like wearing a smile each time I do it. I hope that everyone had a great weekend. I am off to snuggle on the couch and watch zombies. Care to join me?

Sunday, February 23, 2014, 4:25:02 AM- It's Lego Saturday!
This is just plain wrong wrong wrong! What is the fun in finding the perfect lego piece if all of the bricks are in categories? Part of the thrill is sifting through lego pile after lego pile looking for the one that makes you scream "FINALLY YES!!"

Saturday, February 22, 2014, 6:21:49 PM- Awesome weekend so far.
This birthday my sons had me try Raspberry Wine infused with Dark Chocolate. IT WAS FANTASTIC! I am such a wine snob and particularly picky with what touches my palette. That includes cocks too........lol. Not just wine......haahaha. The wine was called Red Decadence. The tastes were paired perfectly and wasn't overly sweet. I give it two thumbs up and two big toes. As we sipped the wine, we laughed our asses off at one of my favorite B-Rated Horror Flicks. War of the Gargantua's! There are many B-Rated horror movies that I like, but this one is tops! It is campy, corny, laughable and goes great with wine...lol Besides the wine and the movies, their dad (the ex) gave me 2 silk and cashmere Pashimina's...and they are gorgeous!!! The festivities continue tonight. They have one more thing for me to try and a few more surprise movies.
