Just north of downtown Minneapolis across the Mississippi river is an area where because of all the mills along the river is where most of the eastern Europien imigrants came and lived working in the mills and shops. The area is still nostley the same it has all the old ethnic shops mostly Polish, Russian and Ukran parts of Europe

My spelling is bad

When I was a kid Grampa who is 100% polish use to take my brother and I to an old polish meat market call Kumarchycks (spelled something like that). Well I met my parents there for lunch today and we talked and remember Grampa who died about 6 years ago. Same grampa I blogged about a while back about getting him to talk about his WWII experiences.

We also discussed about taking the kids down to Florida in December while my parents are living down there this winter. So it sounds like I'lll be in Florida at the end of December.

Isn't it amazing how your mind will make you for 2 years of your life. I spent the last 2 days in the emergency room with someone (wont get into details) who before her parents got there said to me "If this make our realationship to hard to bare I understand" first I must be that shallow or something else. Her mother called me and said she has just gone back 2 years and doesn't remember anything from the last couple and is living from that point.

I have an interesting life going here.

I've been watching the new kitten while I have been home and it is so curious. It watches everything that I have been doing. Also been learning stuff too. Like watching me turn on the shower just might be a getting wet exspirence (maybe with a little of my help) . Or climbing in a box or bag might mean we are going to be there for a while. See it learning to not do anything by the misschevious old man. I love teasing cats.

I need a spelling teacher.

Got my surgery set up for the 13 of the month. Havene,t herd much other than they are letting go 4 people at work. So its me being me again a little depressed.

The other day I met my son half way to where I work for supper. His mother told me he wasn't doing well with life lately. So I took him to Timberlodge. We had a good talk.

Well today I took my oldest daughter to Dave's & Busters for lunch we had a good time. It was a just the 2 of use day. She said she had a good time.

Also told the son that they should come up to where I work because there is a family house we could stay for the weekend. Maybe we can get some of the family time back.

A while back I had said how I wasn't going to keep my job up north which the orders are up on the 30th and was trying to get one closer to home. (which I need to be cause this place is being destroyed by ones who don't care). Well I still haven't found one closer but at least I'm staying on orders up north for how long I still don't know. Still looking for a job closer to home but at least the bills will be paid for a while.

Also:

At least I will have medical for us still. My knee surgery is set up for the 13 October and it seems I will be down and out for 4 days they say. I passed the PT test so now I can have the surgery.

Been really busy lately with work and it seems we aren't going to slow down. Again because of the Army I wont get to hunt again this year. We have to work for 2 months straight with very little time off.

I feel like I'm loosing my kids because of the lack of being with them. And thier mother who doesn't call me when something is wrong around here so I get blind sided a lot. I really do enjoy my job training soldiers going overseas to hostil places.

Sorry Nauty I have been bringing my camera with me out to the field in hopes of seeing the Wolfs but haven't as of yet.

Son's birthday today took him and his girlfriend out to dinner with the rest of the family. Also took the daughters down to thier grandparents for a visit and a little hunting. Good Laborday holiday.

On a list to go back to Iraq. Been thinking about a lot. My unit is slatted to go in a year anyways so will be there anyways soon.

Actuaaly been feeling pretty good lately and am down in wieght. Been working out for my PT test so I can stay working.
