The fishing trip was fun but a cold front went through and shut the fishing down. We caught enough to have a couple of fish frys and take a few home but nothing big. It was 44 degrees Ferihight on Sunday morning and it's August. Strange weather year we have been having.

Have to head back up to work Thursday but my heart isn't into it lately. To much going on around the house that I need to be here. Also with my parents but I wont get into that yet.

Off to the Great white allmost north today. If we aren't fishing in Canada we at least see it. Wish us luck. Thanks to every who tells me there is a little me up there. Just wish there was here.

Need to find me again. Use to be a time I would start a fire and sit there and watch it dance with its pretty colors. I don't even have the urge to go fishing or hunting anymore and its taking me away from the boy and I time. Lets not even start about the girls. It seems I work to much (and in another month that might be gone) and it doesn't help I work a long way away from home. I know this sounds like a me feeling sorry for myself but things were suppose to be different this year from last and it seems they aren't. I don't even come in here as much as I uesed to.

I looking forward to tomorrow when I leave for Lake of the Woods for our annual fishing trip there. The only way I get to go is my friends are paying for it for me. Only cause I own the boat and they want to go. I guess owning the boat has perks.

So I thought at the begining of this year things would be better. Well I uess I was wrong. Back to the same atching the chat room go by feeling like shit about life.

The only good thing to happen today is in womans beach volleyball the US woman were wearing white suits and it was raining. Oh ya they won also.

Well one of the daughters soccer team took 2nd place in there league.

And the other took 1st on a shootout. And my daughter was the goalie and she stopped the last shot to win.

We could call me bad dad also I didn't see the win for my one daughter.

Missed out on the last job also boy I hate coming in second all the time.

But home for a long week and a half vacation. Going up to Lake of the Wood next friday it will be a great break from work. Hopefully I can catch another huge Walleye. Stiull haven't got last years into the taxidermist yet. Need to get on that while I'm home.

Spent most of the day at the girls soccer games. Man the refs are blind.

Yep close again but no cigar. Getting kinda tired of being told I don't have enough college for a job I did for the last 3 years.

Well back up to work in the morning. Still haven't herd anything from the job front so not been a good mood on my birthday. Did find out thoe if I get the one I did the secound interview for I would qualify for the position good news I guess. Would have to be away for 5 months in Texas for the school thoe.

The daughter baked me a cake for my birthday.
