We flew down to Atlanta for my high school reunion on Friday. By noon Sunday we were back home. It was so weird seeing all these people after so many decades. But it was also just fantastic.

he weirdest thing I did was drive by the house were I grew up & I stopped the car and knocked on the door asking if I could look around. Of course I explained who I was and they were as excited as i was!

After getting back home I'm just worn out but have so many stories to tell. It was just amazing. OK.. here's the best part. I met my old high school girlfriend. Maybe not my real girlfriend but we dated quite a few times. OMG! She still looks great. The first night she sort of just keep her distance. The second night she came up to me and told me I looked great then added if I only knew how many times she drive up to my house (back then).. she was just just smitten with me.

If only I had known how she felt then because I felt the same too. The compliments kept coming and I was blushing. We even slow danced and gave me a simple kiss. My wife was there & i don't think she saw that. Whew... She's divorced and looking i think.

By the way.. my pc crashed and I may have lost everything. If its just the mother board .. then I'm good. Thank god for my backup laptop!

Got home & fixed our broken toilet! Me and plumbing usually don't go together very well but today was a breeze!

My son arrived at his first day of work at his new job in Wisconsin. He'll be there for two weeks before he flies back home for Labor day weekend. Of course sooner or later, his home will be up there. I try not to think about it.

The family arrived home last night but I had already left for a birthday party at a friends house. It was weird being there alone because the friend is actually my wife's friend. However, I did have a great time. There were a few single women there who thought I was available? That's ind of a cool feeling having the women sort of hit on you. Everything stayed completely "PG" rated and continued the same at home. See... nothing changes.

Today's another day. Everyone has left for their house but now my son is arriving late to spend the night. He flies out early in the morning to his job. I'll be glad to spend a little extra time with him before he begins a new life in Wisconsin.

Yep! My week alone at home has come to an end. But it was a good week in so many ways and last night was party time!

I got home a little after 11:00 pm when my son in law got to house a few minutes later. We started talking and before long we looked at the clock. It said it after 2:00 a.m. Had we really just sat and talked that long. Guess we were bonding.

This morning I felt like I had a hangover from not enough sleep but I took him out to breakfast. Afterwards we stopped at the Mini dealership and we shouldn't have. They've got lease options I've NEVER seen that low before. OMG! All of a sudden I've the got the hots for a Mini-Copper!

My car has been paid off sometime ago. The wheels are turning pretty damn fast in my head right night. Do I pull the trigger and really do the deal? My wife says NO, my son says yes! This could be the deal that breaks my balls!

My son & I had lunch together while he was in town. On Monday he flies out to his new job in a different state for two weeks. He's very excited as he begins his new career. I'm so happy for him and his new family because he finally got his dream job.

But has a father it made me sad to think I just won't see him very often any more. He is than a son, he's also my friend. It tore me up being emotional all day.

Later in the afternoon my daughter calls me at work to tell me about her day canoeing up in Michigan with mom and her cousin. They had tipped over the canoe and lost their shoes and clothes. That's when she told me the camera she borrowed from me was gone too!

I bravely told her that's OK. As long as you were safe. However, that was my newest camera. Now it's at the bottom of some river up in Michigan. So it wasn't a great day! Tomorrow is a brand new one and it's FRIDAY! Maybe I'll get lucky!

Last night I cooked a real dinner. Tonight it was a MRE, meal ready to eat out of a frozen bag. Tomorrow I'm cooking again.

My wife called to say it was hot up at the lake & they have no air conditioning. Hell, she wanted to go!

Although the quiet house here is bit boring I've found all sorts of fun things to do. Yeah.. sure!

Being in this house alone... too much quiet & I didn't want to open a meal in a bag for dinner. On the way home I stopped and bought a really cheap steak, a potato and cranked up the grill.

I was about half done when I ran out of gas! This is where I'd normally start screaming but because I'm an inventory control freak I had a spare tank ready to rock & roll!

I even made a salad so no one can say it's completely unhealthy.

It's boring being home all alone on a hot Sunday. Everything on my list was done by 1:00 in the afternoon so the rest dragged along. Mondays are usually crappy because its the 1st work day of the week but I need the structure.

I am ready spent too much time on NN for the day but still... I'd rather have spent the day in bed with someone! We wouldn't have to do anything except enjoy being close... naked of course!

The house is pretty quiet since everyone left for Chicago & Michigan. My wife & daughter will be a week so I better find something to occupy my time or I'll go crazy!

Hmmmm I've a few projects to do around the house but I'm just not that bored yet. This afternoon will be soon enough.
