Go ahead and laugh but I am an American Idol junkie. But this year the talent just isn't as good as last year. BUT there are a few people who have got it going now!

At least when they kick people off.. don't let them sing. One poor girl tonight was so terrible! Who could sing knowing they got the boot! Be nice, just let them off the stage!

My love life is still in a holding position awaiting the vote outcome from the other half. All I can say is that it's been weeks and the worst part is I'm getting used to it. That is just so wrong on so many levels.

The refinishing project I've been working on is just about complete. I've an light oak finish, sanded.. sanded.... and sanded some more and turned it into a Dark Cherry finish wannabe.

I only left about 15 minutes early from work but there was this awful feeling like I was sneaking out. My big project for the day was done & there wasn't any point in beginning another right then so I just grabbed my bag and announced I was leaving saying good bye to everyone else.

No one batted an eye! Maybe I should do this more often.

We just heard that my sister in law was on Vacation in Chile. At the time of the earthquake we think she was tent camping at the foot of the Andes not too far from Santiago. We did hear that she is fine via The State Department. We didn't even know she was there!

Gee, the house is empty yet again. I have no idea where the Mrs is & her cell phone of course is sitting on the kitchen counter.

My love life is non-existent it seems. While I can't wait for her to take her trip out west I hate the concept of being alone. But It seems I'm getting used it already.

Meanwhile my balls are truly aching for a little relief. Maybe there's too much perving and not enough wanking! You think I'm kidding? No, it's like having permanent blueballs!

This is just too weird to be home alone on a Friday night with nothing to do. OMG! My wife went to the Symphony with a friend. It all sounds so fucking boring to me. What a crappy way to begin the weekend. Of all the fun things to do that would be at the bottom of my list.

Oh well, sometimes you just have to go with the flow.

I just heard that an old friend of mine passed away this afternoon. We were close for a number of years but over time we just lost touch with each other. It's impossible to go back in time but I can look back and remember the good times and be thankful that were friends!

Just another night in the neighborhood. Meanwhile phase 1 of the furniture refinishing project downstairs is done. That means all the old finish is off & cleaned up. Phase 2 will be the actually application of the new much darker finish.

OMG! All this is so fucking boring. Time to begin some perving!

I really should be now in the basement doing the final sanding on that chest of drawers so I'll be one step closer to completion. But crap... I'm into it just now. Just give me a few minutes of perving!

Rain is gently falling outside. I've already had my morning coffee, read the paper, running the dishwasher and wife is still sleeping.

Last night we had diner out, then to a Broadway musical. It was all designed to give my wife the full experience. It was fun too. She even thanked me for a nice date night. No.. nothing happened after that. So get your mind out of the gutter.
