Having the house all to myself has been like a breath of fresh air.... for now! I can do what I want when I want!

Now I wonder if I'll be saying the same thing in another week? But this weekend my daughter & her husband are coming here so that will be nice to have the dynamics changed up a bit.

The fun part is I can perv as much as I want. They say too much of a good thing is bad, Well... I haven't reached that point yet.

The weather had warmed up a bit by the time I got home from work. I stopped by Target to buy some laundry detergent. For dinner I microwaved some leftovers and turned on the TV.

I watched part III of the HBO series "The Pacific" and just chilled for a while. The house is definitely quiet with no one here. It doesn't bother me yet but it maybe after a week it'll begin to grate on me. Well until then!

It seems my son is headed back home already. He got half way here when friends invited him to work things out at home. Its about time he could work his own problems out.

My wife left on her "vision quest" trip today. I won't see her for several weeks but in a New York second things change.

She was supposed to stop and see my son and grand daughter today while traveling west but instead he's on his way here. Why? Because he and his wife had this huge fight and he left their house. So it appears he'll be staying here for at least a day. I have no idea how long he will stay.

So as the relationship of my wife & I is to be determined at a later date now I must deal with my son's marriage too. My wife said "you handle it because I'm not changing my plans". No problem that's what dad's are for!

This could get interesting to say the least.

My wife has just about finished her packing for her trip out west. She leaves tomorrow. After that it'll be just me and the house.

I was teaching how to use the laptop. OMG! It would have been easier teaching a 5 year old how to transfer photos files from the memory card to the hard drive! How can anyone who has been using a computer as long as she has not know how!

It's Thursday and tomorrow is Friday. Thank you! On Sunday my wife leaves on her solo journey to New Mexico. Oh man... that's entirely weird story in itself. Let's just say its way to detailed to even think about explaining her actions. I just hope she finds whatever she's looking for.

So I find myself holding down the fort here by myself for several weeks. Good or bad I'll discover that for myself all in due time!

It's one of those things I do every day that I enjoy the most. The day is only 15-20 minutes old when I pour myself a cup of coffee and walk outside on the back deck and have a cigarette. For ten minutes every morning I experience the day before it even gets light. That's when I like it the most.

You can hear any sound from blocks away because no one else has even thought of getting up. I know its time when the newspaper guy throws the morning edition on my front steps with a slight thud!

It's starting to rain outside but at least we didn't get the 4" of snow the other side of the state got last night. Today is a good one to hang inside and watch the Mizzou game on TV but they lost trying to advance in the NCAA basketball tournament.

Time to try something different so I sat down and tried my hand adding something with a little hip hop flavor to my voice greeting. It's just a simple 90 second long mp3. Take a listen on my profile

Meanwhile I'm selling my Marshall Guitar amp since it never gets used. I've tried to sell it before but I think I had it priced just a few dollars above what the market dictates so this time I priced it possibly too low for a quick sale.

The cash I get will be used toward yet another camera. Time to upgrade my larger camera!

It's like selling an old friend... it hurts a little but hopefully someone will put it toward a wonderful new life!

It's Saturday afternoon & I'm back in the basement working on a second piece of furniture trying to restore & refinish it. Except this one isn't nearly as easy or as fun as the first. My hands are still shaking from holding that sander for hours. If I wanted to feel vibration in my hands I'd rather it be a vibrator in my control working it good on someone!

The weather was absolutely beautiful outside today. Being at work was difficult when I would have rather been outside just doing nothing and hanging out. Isn't that what spring is for?
