This afternoon my daughter & her husband flew back from Seattle. They had a wonderful vacation but now I want to go there! Maybe next year!

The rain stopped for a few hours but everything is still just soaking oozing water everywhere! I'd rather have something else oozing everywhere!

We are taking care of my daughter's dog while they are out in Seattle. It only took me about 30 minute to realize I'm not a dog person. Now don't get me wrong, I don't hate dogs but they are a lot of work.

He always follows me wherever I go in thew house. How can you go to the bathroom when he's sitting there looking at you with those droopy eyes? It's all too weird. Hell, he even makes noise when he's sleeping.

Last night after going out to dinner I got blind sided by my wife. She blamed me for the kids lack of effort because I taught them. That was plain cruel!

She was made because I had gotten the restaurant reservation only the day before etc.. She was just pissed at the world.

I told her I was moving out!

I tried my best to give my wife a great Mother's day. While she had fun in her garden I did all the housework and more. She just got to do what she wanted which is the way it should be.

But since our daughter is in Seattle there was little contact but at least she gave her a present be leaving. My son gave me a card to give to her. He called but was off the phone less than two minutes. Now my wife is on the back deck crying feeling that no one cares.

When I tried to comfort her she gave me that death look. You moms know what that is. Wow! Has this mother's day gone downhill in a New York second. We're supposed to go to dinner but if she doesn't at least crack a smile I'm canceling. However, if I did that then I'd be a worthless piece of crap wouldn't I?

It might be a long night!

My daughter & her husband needed an early drop off at the airport. There's nothing like getting up at 4:30 am on a Saturday. After getting back home I was off for breakfast out then to work for a few hours.

I tucked out at 10:15 to see my son at a sporting event. Home at 3:00 in the afternoon. A lot was accomplished in a short period of time but I still haven't gotten laid! No doubt I'm doing something wrong.

Maybe hate is too strong of a word. Maybe jealous is better. All I know is every time I log on NN I see everyone having such a wonderful time and it makes me feel so crappy.

Ever since I got back from New Mexico I've done everything I know to put everyone else in my family first. That's the way it should be. However, the happiness factor has fallen off the chart. Could it be that having sex only once in the past month have anything to do with it?

No, we haven't fighting, not at all. At times I usually think we're doing better but there's an empty void that missing. There's got to be to life than this?

Maybe I should have turned on the air conditioning before leaving for work. It's hot in here! But the temp is going to drop real quick so why waste the $$ to cool this box down just open the windows again?

We spent both Saturday & Sunday working ourselves doing landscape work at my son's house. It looked great afterward but we were so tired by the time we pulled in the driveway. But that was Sunday.

Monday was another hard day and more... The Mrs & I had a real discussion later last night. Yeah.. we actually talked about sex which was a shocker. She considers that topic a mine field. The fact is her libido is exactly zero. I could have told her that. Hearing it has nothing to do with me made me feel a little better but it doesn't change anything?

Yesterday morning my wife yelled at me because my beard scratched her. 5 minutes it was shaven off while I was in the shower. When I got to work... no one noticed until I told them.

Last night we had terrible storms and tornadoes but we missed the worse. On DVD we watched the Blind Side which was a great movie. Afterward a few glasses of wine I headed for bed. We watched the Late Show for a while and turned off the TV. A little later my wife asks me if I was going to sleep?

I could have set my watch for this moment, she was right on cue. However, all evening my resentment grew toward her because I just knew she'd offer tonight. There is absolutely no spontaneity in this house. Believe it or not I said I'd rather go to sleep. OMG! It hurt a little but I just threw it out there.

What did my wife do? She said OK... and we both rolled over to sleep. Now if she was really interested she might have tried pushing my manly buttons. .. Ha... good choice for me or did I shoot myself in the foot?

This morning I didn't have to work and the wife started at 9:00. It was a lazy morning which I enjoy.. well I made a move slipping my hand under her nightgown. She said are you trying something or just playing? She said she had to get ready for work and jumped up to take shower. It was 7:00. Lots of time and she wasn't mad at me but I thought maybe tonight after we get back from our son's house 2 hours away.

I saw her packing a few overnight things. Are we saying at their (son's) house tonight? She said yes. No one told me at all! Really! No one said a word a bout this! My wife thought about it and maybe no one told me.

We are so not on the same page!
