and lived with their mum in Qld they ( son and Daughter ) would come visit in the school hols. Just before they went home we would go to a local seafood restaurant for dinner.
So to celerbrate my little girl being here, and just before she goes home, the three of us went out to the restaurant last night.
We got the same as when they were little, the Seafood Platter for 2. We could never finnish it when they were young and failed again last night. In fact when they brought it out I thought it was the platter for 4 there was so much food.
The platter is:
grilled lobster tails, natural jumbo QLD king prawns, whole W.A. scampi, large steamed Spring Bay mussels, Coffin Bay oysters, whole Moreton Bay bugs, Tassie smoked salmon, South Australian baby calamari, salt & pepper squid,King George whiting fillets, hot & cold spanner crab, tempura tiger prawns, grilled Hervey Bay scallops, tropical fruit, lemon and dipping sauces
A feast indeed! And a great night too. |
