I found this mildly amusing.
I was told that 6 of my pics dated almost or just over two years ago turned up in mod alerts today with not just one but 2 alerts on each.
Why is it amusing?
I suspect I have a pretty darn good idea of who was behind it. Not that it means a damn thing but as I said I am mildly amused.
I suspect it is someone who is young. I have nothing against young people with brains but I suspect these young people are also very, very immature.
Why you should be asking right about now.
Because only children would think to get together and conspire, hence the 2 alerts on each. Only the very immature would think to go back 2 years in hopes that it wouldn't be noticed.
I can see them laughing like fools thinking they got away with something, which of course they didn't.
Did they really think that just by clicking the alert moderator button that the pics would magically disappear? Probably.
They probably also thought it would never be noticed if they did.
This reminds me of something my kids MIGHT have tried when they were 4. Thank goodness I taught them better than that!
If you want to play with the grownups please act like one.

I joined face book several months ago at supports instigation, we were looking for a good typing program. I didn't get it at all, the program was good but meh.
Tonight I finally had a good look at it at my daughters instigation. FFS I see why you are all so addicted now. I have only 5 friends, one is a childhood friend I haven't seen in 16 years!! Another invite has just come in from a neighbour kid.
This could be bad, really, really bad.
And yeah so what if I have a list of dead people I would like to invite to dinner!

Yeah war!!
Damn blue jays, HERDS of them (well 4 of them) were determined to attack my bird house and try to get at the babies. They are only sparrows but they are MY sparrows.
Armed with pine cones my son and I sat in wait and each time the jays started to approach we started to fire pine cones into the trees. We completely missed and didn't even faze the jays but that didn't matter, it was fun
Mom and Dad sparrow were doing a damn good job of fending off the hoards and protecting their young.
Nature is so cool.
We sat out there talking and watching Mom and Dad sparrow feed the hungry lil mouths until all of them decided to settle for the evening.
Now it is time for me to settle. For the first time in 3 weeks I have to get up at some ungodly hour and drag my ass into my volunteer job for noon!
It is a total outrage! How am I expected to function at such an early hour??
Every year I say I am going to stick to a reasonable schedule for the summer and every year I fail miserably.
Wish me luck getting to sleep before 3 am.

I have tons of it to use up and or freeze and came up with an idea.
Got some pita breads.
Topped them with some left over gravy.
Added a bit of bbq sauce.
Shredded mozzerella on that.
Add some left over beef, green pepper, mushroom and onion.
Cook like a pizza and serve.

I love the randomness of summer. There is no schedule, things will happen as they happen. Kid1 and friend A went to a movie. They got back and for whatever reason the hockey net, the soccer ball and a skate board came out. Kid2 joined the fun. Friend T called when she figured they should be done the movie and I just said you might wanna look out the window, they are outside.
They have created some obscure game with rules only known to them but I am having a blast watching them and listening to the laughter.
Summer can't be almost half over already can it?
