so when dum came home wif a shaved head, i was all "whooohoooo" cuz he's been askin me NOT to dye ma hair forever n ever. and i took him shaving his head (which i'd asked him NOT to do) as a sign that it would be just as acceptable for me to dye ma hair.

so i did. the new girl @ work also is a beautician. woot!

i picked out the colors i liked, showed her, then turned the whole process over to her, as she's the expert and my dye jobs usually come from the box, or manic panic.

i posted the results.

iz black. wif red highlights (ish). i don't think i like it. dunno. i'll give it some time. but yea...NOT what i saw in ma minds eye. *pouts*

we have a new decorator. and i'm so very happy. this is her first full week, and while the jury's still out on if we'll get along, i already know ma job is 100% easier. today i didn't feel too motivated, but i knew she was there. so i shot her a txt telling her i would come in 'round 2, instead of noon as i'm scheduled. np she sends back. i stroll in and while she's had a fairly easy day, she's 'bout to leave. so i take over where she's left off. she knows i hate drawing (cuz i CAN'T do IT) so she generally takes care of those for me. she also hates shaped cakes or what she calls "freak" cakes, and i love em, so voila.

while at this moment, i do believe we'll get along, she's got a vag, and therefore entitled to pull a complete 180 and turn into uber-bitch. *shrug* iz the law of the vag. and since she works days and i work nights, we only really have fridays and saturdays working together. we'll see. as it is, i'm goin over to her house tuesday (our one day off together) to hang out. she's recently separated and going throu a divorce..so we gots that in common.

oh yea. and she's hot =)

alas, she don't give off "that" vibe, so i'll keep ma libido in check.

there's ONE song, just one song ever that can make dum get up and dance with me..

we have two songs actually. they both picked us, rather than us picking them. the first song's "friday, i'm in love" by the cure. for whatever reason, whenever we would get to see each other (me flying up or him driving down) we'd meet on a friday. so it just sorta worked perfect for us.

the other is a song by uncle kracker "follow me" the lyrics fit our situation so perfectly..

seems everything i did was wrong..

fucked up orders, lost orders, misspelled words/names, dropped cakes..i got there @ noon and it's now 12:40. long day filled with entirely too much grief.

today SUCKS. at least it's almost over.

the part i hate. =( all the paperwork/legal bullshit that comes from moving.

iz time to renew ma tag, and since i'm not IN fla anymore, i kinda need a MO tag. MO has emissions testing...blah,blah,blah.

AND i get a new DL photo...*rolls eyes* yay!

but, in an odd way, guess it makes it more permanent that i'm here. and i ain't going nowhere. lol

okee, fixed the pic in the last blog....I KNOW MD =P but i was still rather drunk and just excited =) and i'm no longer a blog stretcher! for now....

two weeks ago, i got a raise. 50 cents..and i ment to say thank-you to the boss ladies, but kept forgetting...so last week, get ma check, and there's a lil smiley face drawn on next to ma pay rate...guess they thought i'd not noticed the pay raise.

and my dumbass STILL forgot to say thank-you... this week? i get pulled aside by J, one of the boss ladies, to tell me that they've given me a raise, LOL...and actually bumped ma previous raise up another 50 cents.

*grins and blushes and LMFAOOOO* i suppose, since i never thanked them for ma 50 cent raise, they thought they'd offended me or something, so decided to give me more...perhaps i should try that tactic the NEXT raise i get =)

so....yea. yay raises!
