whew...today was a flash from the past. the hours worked, not the amount of cakes. ma last bakery we'd be lucky to have 15-20 cakes and a wedding cake. today? 48 cakes and 2 wedding cakes. i'm beat.

i did, however get a raise. which is sweet. i'm still not making what i paid ma decorators in florida, but i've not been there very long. we'll see, eh?

i'm off to drink beer and relax.

omg.....can't fuckin wait!! normally i ignore the vans warped tour as it's lame, with a bunch of bands i could give a shit about.

but this year! *bounces in her seat* this year......bad religion! my all time favorite band ever in this entire world or universe. i'd leave dums in a second for greg...but i digress

they will be here aug 3rd, along with quite a few other good bands i can't wait to see : flogging molly, DOA, bouncing souls, anti-flag, less than jake, and NOFX to name a few.

but honestly, i really couldn't care less, so long as i can see bad religion!!!

never spend two hours looking up yummy recipes on food network when ya know yer gonna have hotdogs for dinner.. LOL

now i'm starving AND wanting gourmet good food. dum's going to the reserve to go fishing. i guess i'll go with him for lack of anything better to do. it's either that or hang out here and avoid the old people. *shrug*

ok, so after getting off work, i joined dum at the lake by our house. he was fishing. i was reading, gnats were crazy bad, so i sprayed maself down with ma trusty deet. nope. still there.

anyway, i get home and i'm showering off this industrial strength bug spray, when i realize how much i miss ma big tub =( ahhhh, the hours i'd spend, reading, relaxing, drinking a beer. with candles all over the place and a mixture of epson salts and bubble baths...

*cries pitifully*

i tried taking a bath here. i got two choices. either have all of ma legs wet, and ma torso dry and cold, or have ma knees knocking and be neck deep in warm bubbly goodness...

only good thing? the ledge for the window's high enough i can take a beer in with me and not get shower spray in it

it's been a day, busted butt today so hopefully i can get out early enough tomorrow to enjoy festivities.

so i've been playing around with the photo editing program dum gave me. ma first ever and what's responsible for me NOT stretching out the screen of ma blogs (ahemmmm MD and ju).

so this is what i've come up with, should have resized the original so ya'll can see the difference, but i'm done playing for tonight. ya just get the final product.

ma beautiful dummy

iz been one of those days. where ya wake up in a bad mood and it just keeps getting better and better. i think i've said a total of 50 words all day, mostly just "yes" "no" "thanks" "okay".

thank the gods for txts and chat and ma blog. or i'd prolly forget how to speak at all.....

so yesterday after work (all 4 hours of it) me n dums decided to go out for dinner. he choose a japanese habachi, so i get ma steak, and he get's his sushi.

sadly, i guess the waitress didn't understand when i said hibachi STEAK, and heard hibachi CHICKEN. bahhh... and it was dry. lucky me n dum's went throu 2 jars of sake before that happened. so i didn't mind.

afterwards went to the evil empire and bought some movies. i picked 7 pounds, and willow. dum choose snatch and the happening. 7 pounds was good (tear jerker) and i only watched about half of willow before passing out.

today dum's making a big ass pot of red beans and rice, and i'm trying alton brown's recipe for creamed corn bread. i don't think i did it right, but eh...we'll see.

we also cleaned and i am NOW officially 98% unpacked. LOL i know, only took 3 months...guess i'll stick 'round

so ya'll know i ordered me a new toy. well, had to order dum a lil something as well. it's only fair. got him more cockstar pills (see! they're for him......AND me *giggles*)

wouldn't ya know? got home from work today and YAY! a package!!

ok, apparently i was a lil confusing on ma last blog. i've always been classed as a decorator.

i was cracking up that the schedule actually has me listed as "kricket" and not ma given name.

hahahahahah...on next weeks schedule @ work, i look down the diffrent sections, "front", "baker", "doughnut" and finally to "decorator" where i see S*, D*, and kricket. lmfaoooooooooo

they've changed up ma schedule again, as i'm now deemed "acceptable" enough to decorate orders. tuesday n wednesday off and go in at noon every other day.
