So, it's Sunday on what has turned out to be a satisfyingly lazy weekend!!
It also involved me puttering around cleaning up my apartment, which is still VERY messy but slowly improving, and making curry and some thai tapioca pudding for a curry potluck. It was delicious!! And now I'm back to lazing again for a few hours before today's afternoon plans, then back to lazing some moooore mwahahaha.

Anyways!! So the pics I posted today are the last of the ones from August, I'm afraid. I still haven't managed to get any sex here yet, of course, though I can't help hoping I will meet someone who will fulfill my needs for the next 10 months :') And of course I would fulfill theirs haha. That isn't an invitation for tons of e-mails asking to meet up though, please, I still stick to not meeting with people from NN (sorry!). On that note, I realize that my sex life has been a real mess overall. Aside from the 2 boyfriends I had, which over like 6 years of my dating life is REALLY not that much, I've met up unsuccessfully for various short flings, usually with people I meet online. It's not a pattern I want to stick with forever, so I'm really hoping I can meet some nice folks and maybe actually get a boyfriend By the time I get back in August 2010, I will have gone more than three years without a boyfriend. I mean, I love sex and all, but what I reaaaally like is having someone to like, having them like me, knowing stuff about someone etc etc. It's hard since I'm a bit of a quirky person maybe, but I really hope I can meet someone soon. I'll be 25 next year, and I am ready for some love already!! Especially seeing friends getting married, and some even starting to have kids. I don't want to waste my youth posting pictures online and wishing I had a boyfriend.

So I'm traveling for the weekend, yay!! Because it's a long weekend in Japan too (Happy Thanksgiving to all you Canadians out there!) I won't be back until Monday, so you'll have to wait for the remainder of the photos I am posting until then.

I survived Typhoon Melor, in case anyone is interested, my first typhoon experience! Japanese houses are kinda, um, not sturdy, so my apartment and all the sliding doors were shaking and rattling and I didn't get much sleep! The next morning dawned dry and sunny though, it was a little bizarre! So now I'm off to do some sightseeing, yaaay!

I don't have much else to add- I'm feeling a bit better sick-wise, I've been getting the local oranges as presents from all my teachers, and have more than I can handle, so eating 4 oranges a day must be helping my immune system at least a bit

Man, I've been really tired after getting back from Tokyo!
I had a few adventures, most of which left me with sore feet from walking around all over the place, but I'm happy I went! I didn't buy much, besides food, so I don't feel guilty about anything afterwards either, yay!

Did have an older man try to pick me up in a really creepy way, that kinda ruined my only night out in Roppongi, but I got to see Tokyo lit up at night from Tokyo Tower, see some crazy fashions in Harajuku, and go shopping in Ginza! I even checked out a "cat cafe", where you pay by the hour to hang around and drink tea with the store's cats They had a bunch of beautiful felines and lots of toys and things, and while some were sleeping or busy doing there own thing, we got to rile up a few into chasing ribbons and stuff. Only in Japan!

Anyways, I have discovered this year that I definitely like to live in a place with peace and quiet. It's cool that there was such a variety of food and things to do in Tokyo, but I couldn't wait to get back to my rural town! I've spent the past few days recovering, and being supreeeemely lazy, which includes not doing housework, so my place is a mess but I am almost satisfied!

Speaking of satisfied, I am SO horny lately >_< I think it might be the prospect of meeting up with someone in Japan... we'll see about how that pans out. Hey, how is everyone today?
Just thought I would share a bit about what I'm up to these days.

School just started, so I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. Elementary schools are tiring since you have to be "On" the whole time, so I am currently relaxing at home and debating over how lazy I am. I may or may not have a nap

Anyways, this weekend is a holiday in Japan so I will be going to spend a few days in TOKYO, yay!!!! I've never been before (except passing through to catch flights, which totally doesn't count) so I'm looking forward to being overwhelmed by TV advertising in the streets, going to weird restaurants, and checking out all the crazy stores and street fashion! Should be fun There will be at least one night of crazy drunken partying, yaaaay!!! I'm not much of a partier, but I figure it's practically a necessity when in Tokyo. I bet there are sweet clubs, not that I've been to more than 3 or 4 in my life. There are probably also hot people and a lot more foreigners, but I will try to resist "hooking up" most likely. Speaking of sex, I have already started counting down the days until I get to go home for Christmas

Phew, so my crazy trip is just about over. As you may have noticed, I haven't been updating much still, but never fear, some photos WERE taken eventually, and I hope to have them up soon

Alas, I leave in two days The trip has passed super-quickly, and I feel like I only got a brief taste- the kind that leaves you wanting more rather than sating one's appetite. But there you go, that's life~ I'm sure I will settle back into Japan once I'm there, but for once an international trip doesn't have me as excited as I thought it would. I've done my best to cram my face full of familiar food, see as many familiar faces, and get a little bit of lovin' before I head back It will just have to keep me until Christmas!! In fact... I am SO excited about Christmas already. I will have to stop myself from breaking out the Christmas carols I got a taste of Canadian summer, and also a taste of autumn the past two days (those in the Toronto area will know how unseasonably cold it has been!), and I can't wait to be back for winter too!! Not that I'm not excited about Japan at all, since I dooo plan to take some more trips, hopefully adventurous ones, but work is exhausting and I've really enjoyed the time off here.

Anyways, I'm afraid I don't have any crazy stories. Basically, I've been very very busy every day seeing different people, and a few times I have managed to get in a bit of really nice sex Which includes lazing around half-naked, chatting, and generally getting to get close to someone. So nice!! I'm not really one for hugs from strangers or lots of physical contact, but I've found in Japan how much I value the little things. Hugs from friends, even a handshake!! Mostly it's because I'm ashamed to admit that once I got sex, we were too busy fucking to take pictures, so as of yet I have no proof! We've talked about it though, hopefully I will have something to show for my time back in Canada!!

Umm, as for the sex, it's been good. Very good And also REALLY great just to be able to kiss/snuggle/be close to another person, since the most I get in Japan is brief friendly hugs. So I've arrived back safely in my beloved home country Funny how patriotic one gets when you're away from your country, provided you liked it to begin with anyways. It's really nice to get back and I'm already feeling all nostalgic and feeling sad about leaving in a few weeks! Japan and Canada are such separate world that when you're in one, the other seems so distant and unreal, like a dream. Being in Canada is definitely only a short trip, but being back at home makes it feel like I've never left! Except that the surrounding have changed a lot!!!

I'm definitely feeling jetlagged, but am being very strict with myself, so with any luck I won't be zoning out after 4pm (or 11am, or basically any time of day!) in a couple of days.

That's all I really have to say for now. No pics or sex yet, so no need to ask me about them. All in good time. Where did all this patience come from?
