the first part of it was me being mad at pbc... she's leaving me... she needs to and it betters her.. i know this but it still hurts....

the last part of the week..pbc is jealous.. she told me so.. she thinks that i'm going to become as close to the new asst. as her... no way not a chance in hell...

funny how we are both having these crazy emotions...sounds stupid and i know i'm to old for it but she is my bff...

tikka went to the oral surgery... ended up being the weirdest abscessed tooth i have ever seen ... they knocked him out and damn he's funny with the happy juice... cut about a one inch incision on the roof of his mouth and drained it... it was totally infected and up into his sinuses .... ewwwwww...

craziness though is always around ... i come home from work today and bob is with tikka... they are both burning up and look like shit... fevers that are high... kid sick.. ya wish you could take it and give it to yourself ...

so have to add that yesterday was totally awesome with the surgery and all ... made today really really good... i was a chatty .. happy ... good mood girl on this hump day...

i'm trying to read blogs and for the life of me can't focus on the words...i have so much swarming in my head... so i'm gonna blog it...lol...

tikka.. my 13yo son.. was one of my patients today... he has what appears to be an abscess... but it's on his palate (roof of his mouth)..x-ray shows widened pdl's on all teeth in the area....i know wtf is a pdl?? but it's my blog hahaha... i've never in my career seen anything like it... the doc had to break out her books ... she just doesn't know so she consults with the big boss... who happens to be an oral surgeon... so it's not dentally related but needs to be biopsied ASAP.. so into surgery tikka goes tomorrow at 9am and btw since your knocking him out ya might as well scoop up his wisdom teeth too....
i totally know the procedure... i've assisted many ... but damn... not sure yet if it's the being put to sleep that bothers me or the biopsy...

called my mom tonite.. and before i can tell her about tikka.. she tells me they were at the dr's today for some sore that my dad's had for awhile on his lip ... doc says she's positive it's cancer... he goes back in two weeks for a biopsy... and again ... it's nothing to worry about... must be the phrase of the day ... i think i'll roll with it ...

for whatever reason .. i seem to be in a kind of melancholy mood... there is no reason for it .. i had a good weekend .. two days off in a row.. yay me... i think it's the fact that ... well i don't think that i have ever blogged it.. peanut butter cup moved out last month right before x-mas ... i do miss her terribly but it's cool cause i can still see her at work right?

tomorrow she puts in her two week notice.. i just got done typing her letter of resignation... i'm totally happy for her.. really and truly..but i'm going to miss her more than ever .. and who the hell knows what is gonna happen at work... nothing good i don't think.. but right now it's all speculation on my part...

pretty sure the girl that's interviewing this week will get the job.... when they find out pbc is leaving they don't have much choice..inside information i have lets me know they will be bringing her in at a higher pay rate than me....can i handle it?? i don't know ... i could bet i have about 10 years experience on her then again... what is really known at this point...okay i guess there was a reason... enough rambles...

i was off today ... and omg i slept in and then we went shopping... i got a cute new pair of jeans (i had bought them before but i accidentally got long... returned them for the same jeans in regular.. and they didn't fit ?? crazy so returned them again today for the same jeans... size and everything and tried them on they fit... again crazy) and a super cute top too...

went to the local apple-bee's for some happy hour ... i love perfect margaritas and the one i got was way less than perfect... so i asked our server .. hey can i get another and could you please make it?? he said sure but can i ask why ?? i said i want it to be perfect (that is what it's called)... the bartender (who made the 1st one)... girl busted a nut... it was crazy she was totally pissed off .. slamming glasses and what not ... he came over and said she's upset ... Ya think?? we'll go back when he bar tends ...
