So if you know me, you know that my Dummy is a road racer... you know... those crazy fuckers you see on TV going around a corner at 140mph with their knee on the ground.

You also know I'll have my bike up and operating this winter, with wheels on the ground come spring time...

I just did something that scares the fuck out of me, at the same time as making mu heart beat SO fast with excitement! I've signed on for a "track day" at Grattan Raceway. It's their first ever Ladies day.... and my first ever track day.

Oh lordy, lordy, what did I get myself into?!? One of my female race heros will be there, and has promised to take me under her wing to show me the ropes. Ya'll dun understand, this is like having Picasso promise to show ya how to paint a picture.

I won't get my license until April? May? Then I'm showing up at a PROFESSIONAL race track for a track day. Like I said, I'm so excited I'm about to creme my jeans, and I'm so damn scared I want to vomit!!!

This has the possibility of being the most fantastic thing that's ever happened to me, or the most fantasticly WORSE thing... lol...

Either or... Ima do it. And Ima give it 1000% of what I have..

but I graduated high school 12 years ago. I no longer need to participate in the high school behavior...

It's been a nice relaxing weekend for me. Shops closed Sunday and Monday, so those are the days I took off from the bakery. Had fun playing in status and chat yesterday, the whole voice message thing was a blast. Getting to put voices to faces....*sigh*

Of course, my GB Packers kicked ass yesterday as well. Gawd that was a good game! Dummy only complained slightly, and I let him have the TV for the rest of the night.

I'm glad the response to the pics I posted of my friend Rubenredd and I was so favorable. I'm sure you all remember how hard it was to post that first pic, how nervous you were. With the reception you've given her, I'm sure she'll have the confidence to start posting under her own name. So Thank you all who commented on her pics.

As much as I hate blogs with nothing but youtube vids on them.

But it's been a bad day. And I figure I'd share one of my favorite songs.

Had a lovely day showing my parents and sister around historic downtown. Bought Dum some english whole grain mustard spiked with Guinness that he adores, and some whole grain spiked with Irish whisky for me.

Got back to their RV, and I took a nap. Ahhhhhhhhhh. Dum got off and drove over, despite having a bad day at work, and let my dad cook for us. Then we took them to a catholic shrine/statue thingie that's a local secret. They loved it.

Tomorrow I think we're hitting the zoo. Not entirely sure. I do know tomorrow night Mom n Daddoo n Digoree are taking me and Dummy to a "surprise" dinner. We know we're going, and we know we have to dress up. We just don't know where it is. So yesterday me n Dig's went shopping, and I bought a dress that is SURE to knock Dummy off his feet.

Tomorrow was going to be our wedding day, and while I know I can't stun him as he sees me walk down the aisle towards him, the very least I can do is stun him when I walk into the room tomorrow night. This style of dress isn't something I'd normally even try to attempt, but Digs said I looked sessy in it, and hopefully he thinks so too.

I'll see if I can talk Digs into takin some pics of us for ya. =)

My parents and Digoree have been here for 2 days now, so that leaves very little time for NN. Hell, or even FB. lol
