nuffin like waking up from a dirty dream to find out dummy had been "helping" and had buried his tounge in my.....well...you get the idea.

i'm gonna relax for a bit, then go hang out with dum in the shop, maybe get my first welding lesson.

in the cake world, there are superstars...even non-cake savvy people recognize them.. duff, carlos, and of late...the cakegirls.

seen on shows like "amazing wedding cakes" and winners of several food network challenges...they were starting to shine...

i know this is a major setback, i also know they'll rebuild and continue their success.

so...yes...there's been much gnashing of teeth (from the women) and death threats (from the men) about how sweetly i'm being treated by my dummy lately.

so i figured i'd share today, which has rapidly become a typical day in the kricket and dum household (this would be called bragging)

i wake up, light a ciggy, dummy comes over and kisses me good morning, and asks if i'd like coffee. i do, and am rewarded in a few minutes with a fresh cup, sugared to perfection. i get scrambled eggs, crispy bacon and grape jelly covered toast.

go to work...come home to some beautiful flowers (as there are fresh flowers in my room for me every week) these are particularly beautiful to me, as i love the color


i get a perfectly cooked dinner, and then a surprise for dessert. banana and chocolate fondue. *sighsss*


then after a few beers and some chat possibly, i'll lay down and let him give me a back massage, mines a little sore atm.

so....yea. i'm spoiled.

okee, crisis averted. apparently one of the girls we've bowled against before saw the phone, and flipped it open, hoping for a recognizable picture. how bad is it that a picture of a can of PBR let her instantly know it was my phone?!?!?!?

now i'm home and in possession of ma cellie again AND gonna go check out the local community college's website to find out what i gots to do to get in for the fall semester. =D

so....'bout an hour ago i realized i'd left my cell phone @ the bowling alley.

this has been on my mind ALOT lately..

i'm a cake decorator, and i'm....OK....at it. i'm not fab, i'm not duff, i never will be. i don't have that kind of creativity in me.

so here i am...30 years old, and wondering what i want to be when i grow up.

i know i want to go back to college. if i hate anything, it's leaving something unfinished...and i dropped out a scant year n a few months into college. the problem is...WTF do i wanna do?!? i have a great many ideas... ffs, some of them crazy, some of them likely fitting..i dunno...let's list them shall we?

i've always wanted to be: a pathologist, a crime scene investigator, a psychologist, or a special needs teacher.

lately, i've been thinking more along the lines of a therapist, couples or sex, that type of thing... then again...*sighs*

i have no fuckin idea.

so...what DO i wanna be when i grow up?!?

work is...bleh... i had put in ma two weeks notice, and they'd promoted blondie, (member her?) back to decorating. when i decided i'd stay..well, i wasn't gonna let them break her heart again...so i took the part time position, gave her my full time slot.

anyway...work is...bleh...

i'm in pain the majority of the day, thanks to ma teeth. they only hurt if i eat, so YAY for diets! =P

so yea....glad ma wenchwoman is safe n sound, and glad for two friends who've found love...

so dum and i went on a ghost tour of our historic downtown with our new friend Dr. Henry. he's been investigating paranormal activity for over 30 years, and i likes him alot.

it was SO much fun! just hearing the history of our town (5th oldest in the country), was amazing enough, not to mention hearing all of the ghostie accounts. since this was just a tour, not a proper hunt, i didn't expect to get anything, but...WOW did i!! i have between 10-12 pictures of what's commonly known as orbs, or ghosties. =D even Dr. Henry got excited about them. he instructed the group to take "control" pictures, namely, 3 pictures, back to back, as quickly as possible in succession. this is the "control" picture i took of what used to be a potters field, a graveyard for poor and unknown people.



and this is the same view, less than 5 seconds later. while i'd captured many orbs, this was the most clear and prominent phenomenon



there's actually two orbs visible in the picture. i can't wait till i send them to Dr. Henry and he studys them.

so, all in all, an excellent night. even better, after the tour, we met up wif Dr. Henry at our favorite bar (his too) and he's invited me n dums to several meetings, saying he'd like us to sign on to a paranormal investigative team. as he said, it would be excellent to have "a cynic, and a sensitive" on his team.

at the krick n dum household...we braved the evil empire...


we were startled by the sheer numbers of tween and teens standing in line near the movie section...till we saw the signs for the "new moon" release. dear god...i'm glad we're not into that....

anyway...we had to pick up a dvd player, as ours has no buttons, will NOT respond to ANY universal remote, and dear sweet puppy ate the remote for it. we got one. excellent...on to the movies!!

our first pick... inglourious basterds, one neither of us has seen yet, but we've been waiting and waiting to do so.

2nd pick, a movie of my choosing, the zombie diaries. supposed to be better than 28 days later. and fits right into the zombie kick i've been in lately.

3rd and final pick, another of my choosing, and still another i've not seen yet. sweeney todd, featuring mr depp and mr burton again in another match made in heaven.

so yay.....lots of cold beer, maybe some popcorn...this is gonna be a good night =D
