and today, i start my rib piece. i'll have dum take pics while i'm getting inked, and perhaps some when we get home. i usually don't like takin pics of work till it's healed, as it never looks right.

so now i'm freakin out a bit. wanna hurry up and get it done. at least this 1st bit. i'll know what i'm in for once i get past this.

then, today at work...i see more humanity in action.

guess a lady came in this morning, ordered and paid for a cake. well, the clerk didn't realize till after she left that she'd accidentally overcharged her $10. So she called lady back and told her her mistake, letting her know she could pick up the balance owed to her when she got her cake. lady said, "nah, don't worry about it, just pay it forward. the next customer can have it"

how cool is that? next custo came in, the situation was explained, and they were told their order was on the lady before them. THAT customer thought it was a great idea. refused the $10, but added $5 more to it.

and so on and so forth, every customer who came in, the situation was explained, and they refused the $$, most of them tossing a dollar or more into the pot.

when i left we were up to $40. we (as a group) decided we'd pick an angel from the charity tree, and use the money to buy whatever their wish list was.

kinda gives you goosebumps, huh?

last night, i did it. i finally made good my threats.

our bed is TOO damn small for 1 fully grown man, 1 perfectly shaped woman, and 1 LARGE dog. it's a feckin FUTON, FFS!

so...after rayce nudged me AGAIN onto the edge of the bed. i gave up, said fuck it. grabbed my pillows, spread the blanket the DOG is sposta be sleeping on out, and curled up on the floor in front of the t.v.

other than needing an extra blanket, as iz awful cold down there. i had a lovely nights seep. plenty of room, and tho i missed snuggling wif dummy, it'll prolly become a habit.

yesterday? we were BAD!

both of us have been scrimping and saving alot lately. so when i had a bit of extra cash burning a hole in my pocket, we both jumped on the chance for some wicked spending.

i woke up early yesterday...8AM!! and i didn't tear anyone's head off. go me! the dmv was a bust. seems like i can't catch a break. but then again, i DID get pulled over on my way there. why is it, even if ya know at most, your gonna get a ticket, not go to jail or somethin, you get unbelievably shaky and nervous. yes, my temp tag is now out of date. and yes my license is still from florida.

and i got out of it! whooohoooo! since i told him i was literally ON my way to the dmv, he said he'd follow me. yes, i DID play the "dumb girl" role. "ummm...could i follow you, sir? i'm not sure where it is" yea. i been there like 3 times already.
but it worked. and while i'm STILL not legal to drive. i should be able to fix all that tomorrow. *crosses her fingers* if the stupid bank would clear my damn paycheck. if i'd known it'd take them this long, i'd have just cashed it. ffs.

i had to ask dummy to make sure i actually WOKE up when the alarm went off @ 8am tomorrow. usually, i wake up jussssss enough to set the alarm an hour ahead... i guess i shouldn't have shown him this before asking, huh?
