I am a little behind the times with the forum and just found out lifers will be extinct somewhere around 2094. It isn't so much that we are a dying breed, more so the changes I have witnessed. What I feel like is a condensed version of what my grandparents and others born early in the 20th century must have felt with the rapid changes throughout their lives.
May 2003 I stumble upon NN and am psyched! What a cool place! leave tons of comments as "says" because there was no memebership then.
July 2003 figure out there is a new membership option and sign up with the dubious name of "juicy"
Aug 2003 discover chat and don't leave for the next 4 months solid. On the off chance I did fall asleep I would go running back in to occasionally find I was the only one there so would sing and dance with myself until I was caught trying to keep the screen moving.
After that dates all become a blurr.
I do remember when for the first time more than 50 pics/day were posted.
I do remeber Mrfar2shy and ZMAN competing to be the largest contributors to NN (longgggggggggggggg before premium membership)
I remember the days of auctions to raise money for the site and if memory serves me correctly it was taminator's NN thong that was the first auction item.
I remember one of the first trivias 1301 days ago when the prize was your name on clitty's ass

I remember not so fondly when pic mods became a necessity.
I remember chat records being broken, hell never mind that I remember when the pit was invented I was the second one in there.
I remember when the "big room" came into being.
I remember when vids/prem became options.
I remember nudles.
Change really is inevitable.
My fondest memories over the past four years are of the people. Some of whom have had a huge impact on my life. Keith and fubar for being there for my in my early days when life smacked me HARD across the face. There are so many more many who I still keep in touch with. Those of you that were there for so long but have wandered away for your own reasons and for those of you that are here now I am eternally grateful to have met you.
Sometimes it is a good thing to take a walk down memory lane it allows you to see just how far you have travelled and gives you the opportunity to reflect on the journey.
Change is inevitable and a little tolerance goes a long way.
