Remember the pickle saga? Yeah I said I wasn't going to mention it again but fuck me I am mad!!!!
Cid had asked for pickles from cap and I volunteered to send mine. Well they arrived at his place today.

This will be the last of the pickle saga, from me anyway.
Cap had said he would send cid some hot pickles so I suggested sending him mine since they are too hot for me. The next challenge was finding a way to pack them since I destroyed the jar getting them open. (scroll down for the beginning of the pickle saga) I got creative and put them in a ziplok bag then packed that into a plastic container.



Then I duct taped it shut, I didn't want to have any leaks and some of you know from chat I love duct tape
I also mailed "the shirt" to MD, he should have it next week, then it will be off to its next destination.

VB has been far too productive where as I have really done, well, nothing. He was even so unlazy that he blogged twice today (roll eyes)

made me do it!!!! It finally arrived in my little corner of the planet and after doing all my chores and running around the sun was calling me and begged me to bring beer. There was no way I could ignore a long lost friend.
So here I sit slightly inebriated with a slight sunburn.

a window is opened.
This morning that was shown to me with startling clarity. I have been communicating with one of Dawn's very close friends and in the process have gained not one but 7 new friends. Women Dawn affectionatly called "the posse". None of them had ever met me and yet they honoured me by including my name on the wreath of the 7 friends. I found out last week Dawn wanted me to have 2 pictures she kept on her bed stand and was thrilled!! This morning I found out a gift was made to the now 8 friends. To say I am blown away is an understatement. The way in which the friends who have known each other forever have included me is mind boggling to say the least. They made me feel like I was there with them, sharing the laughter, the tears and the memories.
Sometime in the next week or so I will be recieving a package that will make me smile and also cry with tears of joy that I was lucky enough to have loved and been loved such a beautiful woman.
Love really does make the world go 'round,

there seems to be no way to repay the kindness others have offered you. I however believe that passing the kindness along is perhaps the best gift of all. What you recieved was totally unexpected and to be able to give that gift to another and to have them as astounded by the generosity as you were, inspiring them to pass it along is perhaps the ultimate "chain letter"

was an NN kind of day. I met pussyeatinman55 and had a blast! While he was here we called MD and both of us had a good chat with him. A little later cap called and we had a good chat. And just now before I sign out for the night I got another wonderful email from dawn's friend which makes me feel so connected to the woman I miss so much.
I think I am going to sleep well tonight.
