ah...what is life, without drama. i shall never know..so i shall think upon the better things...

this last weekend..*sigh*..was just so amazing.

princess and pooh are, by far, the cutest couple i've ever seen. always sneaking kisses (or NOT so sneaking) and never very far from each other.

cap gets the word for the best giggle i've ever heard. it's impossible to hear it and not grin.

my darling apple really IS as sweet, loving, and caring as she is here. and *giggle* "mmm, you smell good. you smell like barbecue!"

the third day, the littlest one point at me n said "kickit!" yea. i melted too. and watching his brother catch his first fish ever (BEFORE dum did, of course), was fantastic. i don't think he could have smiled bigger. (the kid, not dum.hahahahahaha)

there's just too many memories, and too much goodness to capture in one blog. i was wondering sunday how i would possibly fit everything that happened into words. and....it's just not possible. *shrug*

hopefully, i'll have some pics tomorrow to show ya'll about ONEEEE special thing that happened. we'll see

NN gave me the love of my life, and the most perfect weekend ever. i get back tonight only to have NN give me something worse... a crazy broad with guns...

there just aren't enough words in the english language to describe this past weekend. add to that the exhaustion of the best weekend of my life, and i'm done, toast.

i shall endeavor to give you at least a small taste of what this past weekend was....tomorrow.

princess and pooh are still as awesome and perfect together as always, hp's daughter is such an impressive young woman, i was honored to meet her.

apple and cap? are everything i ever dreamed they were, and then some. i'm proud and lucky enough to count them among my "real life" friends now.

generally it's a few months after a new tatt has healed before i start seriously thinking about the next one. but...damn. here we go again! lol

i had thought about getting a pastry bag on my arm, a testament to the last few years of my life. but, talking to Bo, my artist, has changed my mind a lil. blame him!! so now (hopefully) in the next few weeks, i'll get started on a 1/2 or 3/4 sleeve. bright and colorful and fulled with cupcakes and cakes and pastry equipment and general yumminess...

and this is ONE addiction...i LIKE having

i'm on a couple of "top 50" lists on NN. not saying this to brag, as one of the lists i'm on, i'm really not proud of. "Top 50 people who have denied the most friends request" i'm really not stuck up or anything, and i seriously have sent a PM to everyone i deny. it's pretty much a form letter, i just copy/paste and send. "thanks for your friend request, but in trying to keep my list managable, i only accept requests from those i interact with via chat and blogs. thanks again!" that type of thing, ya know?

but today! holy-rock-star batman! i got a request from a couple i've admired for a looooooooong time. i've never chatted with them, and they don't do blogland, but... just wow! lol. i equate it with getting a friend request from brad pitt or something. i'm happily stunned and just...YAY!

i did a cake for a Mr. and Mrs. VonGrumpy yesterday. Seriously.








and i'm soooooooooooooooooooooo stealing that name.

yesterday was fun. we went to dum's newest find, a lil wildlife reserve off the mississippi. the water had risen crazy high in the night since dum had gone day before. but we decided to stick it out. dum caught a cute lil ole catfish. maybe....1/2 a pound. then something took my line. whatever the fuck it was, it put up a fight. finally got it ashore and me n dum both are like, "WTF?!?" it's like 3ft long, 'bout 6 inches around, has the face of a fish and the body (skin) of like...an eel or a snake. it's UGLLYYYYYY. we called the other fisherpeople over to see if THEY knew what it was...no clue. huh. i had dum take a pic of me n it wif ma cell phone. sadly...i can't SHOW you this pic, because dum forgot to SAVE it. =/ yea...he earned his name again. anyway, we name it the "missouri dick fish" and set it free.

...dum researches it later that night. and apparently it was an american eel. only the females come THIS far in from the ocean, and she somehow ended up in our lil slough from the atlantic ocean, south of bermuda. and it was on the larger scale of how big they get. and it REALLY likes frozen cooked shrimp. =D

in other news...work sucked.
